This May, you and the Okra Dance Company will embark on a dance-filled adventure back in time! Not only will the roots of American dance be explained, but demonstrations of each popular dance throughout American history will be performed! From African roots and European influence, American dance has evolved into the contemporary dance we know and love today. The Okra Dance Company will put on a great show for any dance-enthusiast!
The Okra Dance Company will be at the JFK Library and Museum, 220 Morrissey Road, on May 27, 2013.
