Join the Redcoats and the Rebels at Sturbridge Village's military re-enactment!
This August, Sturbridge Village is offering a fantastic opportunity to witness a moment in American history! On the 3rd and 4th of August, Sturbridge Village will host New England's largest military re-enactment by portraying the fight for America's freedom. The eventful two days, which allows children to experience some measures of the American Revolution, include events such as a mock battle, cannon-firing demonstrations, and drum-music. All of these events are conducted by people in revolutionary war uniforms.
Cheer for the rebels on August 3rd from 9:30am-4:00pm and August 4th from 9:30am-8:00pm. Admission is $24 for adults, $22 for seniors, $8 for youths ages 3-17, and free admission for children 2 and under. Sturbridge Village is located at 1 Old Sturbridge Village Road in Sturbridge.
