This October, light up the night sky at Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walk!
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walk is an event that funds lifesaving research and patient support for individuals and families battling blood cancer! The Light the Night Walk, presented by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, provides walkers with illuminated balloons-white for survivors, red for supports, and gold in memory of loved ones lost to cancer, in order to create a trail of bright awareness.
This year's walk will take place on October 10, 2013 starting at Boston Common. Registration for the event begins at 5pm followed by a remembrance ceremony and speaking program from 6:20pm-6:40pm, then the walk, beginning at 7pm. By raising $100 or more, walkers are given Light the Night T-shirts and a wrist band entitling them to enjoy food and refreshments!
