He joined the varsity swim team at Ithaca High School in Ithaca, N.Y. when he was in seventh grade and won back-to-back state championships his junior and senior year. Meyer went on to Harvard University, where he was a two time All Ivy League swimmer majoring in human evolutionary biology. Meyer lives in Boston where he trains full time under Harvard men’s swimming head coach Tim Murphy.
