The Buzz: Interview: Zach Braff

You know him best as a goofy doctor on "Scrubs," but Zach Braff is leaving the emergency room and taking on a serious role dealing with love and relationships in his new movie, "The Last Kiss."

In the movie, his character struggles with settling down with a woman he loves.

Zach Braff, "The Last Kiss"
"He has this experience with this young girl, and it's so completely shallow and nothing like the way he feels for the true love of his life. It's sort of a lesson he has to learn."

As for real life lessons, Zach credits "Scrubs" for making him famous. But rumors are swirling he's leaving the show?

Romeo, 7News
"About ‘Scrubs?’ Is this just about it?"

Zach Braff, "The Last Kiss"
"I don't know. There is a lot up in the air. The network doesn't seem to know what they want to do with this, and so who knows. I know we're on for a full season starting in November."

One question Zach will answer is what he likes most about Boston.

Zach Braff, "The Last Kiss"
"I have never seen a city that has more Dunkin’ Donuts on every corner. I love Dunkin’ Donuts, and I’m not doing an advertisement, but there's nothing like a nice donut."

So you heard it first -- the way to Zach's heart is a donut. But does he already have a special lady?

Zach Braff, "The Last Kiss"
"No, [I’m] completely single. If you're in Boston, I’ll be on the corner of ((laughing))... I'll be at the Dunkin’ Donuts. Come find me eating a crawler."

Romeo, 7News
"Now that you know what Zach Braff likes, he's hoping you'll like his new movie, "The Last Kiss." It opens this weekend. And he'll bring us more laughs with "Scrubs," which starts in November right here on 7."
