The Dish: Dish: Meatballs with Pasta
Meatballs:
-- 2 lbs. ground beef
-- 1/2 stock of celery
-- 1 small onion
-- 1 c grated Romano cheese
-- 2 c plain bread crumbs
-- 4 eggs
-- 2 TSP chopped garlic
-- salt & pepper
-- 2 lbs of linguine
-- #10 can tomato sauce
To Prepare Meatballs:
In large mixing bowl, mix ground beef, celery, onion, eggs, cheese, bread crumbs and salt and pepper
In large sauce pan , cover bottom with oil, add garlic and brown
Measure out your meatballs
Roll out and put in sauce pan on mdium heat , brown all sides
Add tomato sauce and simmer for 1 1/2 hours
To Prepare Spaghetti:
Bring 1 gallon of water and TSP salt to a boil and add pasta - cook 5-7 minutes
Drain and place on platter
Then place meatballs and sauce on top
