The Dish: Ice Cream Pizza at Emack and Bolio's

RECIPE:
Emack & Bolio's Ice Cream Pizza Brownie Crust:
-- 3 tablespoons of butter
-- 3 tablespoons of canola oil
-- ¾ cup of sugar
-- 1/8 tsp salt
-- ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
-- 4 1/3 table spoons eggs, whole, beaten
-- ¼ cup cake flour
-- ¼ cup cocoa powder
-- ¼ tsp baking powder
-- A little more than a half cup milk
-- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
-- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat bottom of 10 inch round pan with non-stick pan spray; set aside
-- In a bowl, sift together cake flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder; set aside
-- In a separate bowl combine milk and vanilla extract; set aside
-- In a mixer fitted with a padel attachment, combine bitter, canola oil, sugar, and salt and mix on medium speed for 2 minutes
-- Scrape down sides of bowl and add melted chocolate. Mix on low speed until thoroughly mixed
-- Scrape down sides of the bowl, and on a low speed slowly add the eggs until combined
-- Add flour mixture in three parts, starting and ending with the dry ingredients, while alternating with wet ingredients
-- Pour batter into prepared 12" round pan and bake at 350 degrees for 11 to 14 minutes
-- Remove from over, let cool completely
-- Once the brownie has been baked and cooled, layer on the brownie vanilla ice cream
-- Ice cream should be about an inch thick but should not cover the perimeter of the brownie
-- Hot Fudge is then drizzled on the ice cream in a "zig zag" design
-- Chocolates, candies, jimmies are randomly placed on the ice cream so that each slice gets a proportionate share
-- Pizza is put in the freezer to harden
Slice after pizza is frozen and serve - It's a sundae in a slice Enjoy!
