Dish: Blueberry Coffee Cake French Toast 

She knows you better than anyone. She's your rock, your best friend -- she's mom. For Mother's Day we're cooking up a very special way to show her she's No. 1! We have a breakfast treat that dad and the kids can cook up in no time! 

Blueberry Coffee Cake French Toast Recipe:

-- 8 eggs
-- 4 oz brown sugar
-- 4 oz sugar
-- 1/2 oz salt
-- 1/2 cap vanilla
-- 1 qt plus 8 oz half and half
-- Cinnamon and nutmeg to taste
-- Coffee cake (store bought, homemade -- your choice!)

Mix ingredients together until smooth (yields 64 oz)

-- Cut the Coffee Cake into 12 slices
-- Dip in the batter
-- Cook on each side to a golden brown
-- Top with confectionery sugar and whipped cream

You can also serve it with maple syrup and butter, but it doesn't even need anything! It melts in your mouth.
