The Dish: Mission di Parma -- grilled pizza by Crazy Dough's
INGREDIENTS:
3 oz. grande diced mozzarella
1.7 oz thinly sliced prosciuto di parma
.2 oz.pecorino romano
2 oz. sliced Black Mission Figs
1.5 oz. crumbled Pt. Reyes Blue cheese
METHOD:
You can buy dough at any supermarket in the refrigeration section. Dough stays on hot grill for 1.5 minutes on each side or until grill marks are achieved. On grilled crust add toppings. Cook in oven five minutes at 525 degrees. Garnish with thinly cut basil
For Figs:
Slice 2 oz dried figs and place in bowl
Add 1.5 oz Fig Jam to bowl and mix thoroughly.
The figs will be generously covered with jam, maximizing flavor and presentation.
