The Dish: Jakes Dixie Roadhouse -- Inside out black & blue burger
< iv class="recipe">INSIDE OUT BLACK & BLUE BURGER - Buffalo style
INGREDIENTS:
8 oz. 80% lean fresh ground chuck
1 oz. crumbled blue cheese
1 oz. blue cheese dressing
1/2 tsp. fresh coarse ground black pepper
1/8 tsp. kosher salt
1 oz. Franks Buffalo Wing Sauce, bottled
2 Tbs. finely chopped celery
1 Fresh Bulkie Roll
INGREDIENTS:
8 oz. 80% lean fresh ground chuck
1 oz. crumbled blue cheese
1 oz. blue cheese dressing
1/2 tsp. fresh coarse ground black pepper
1/8 tsp. kosher salt
1 oz. Franks Buffalo Wing Sauce, bottled
2 Tbs. finely chopped celery
1 Fresh Bulkie Roll
METHOD:
Form 2 - 4 oz. patties. Place the crumbled blue cheese & blue cheese dressing mixture in the center of 1 patty and place the second patty on top and seal well. Liberally season the newly formed big burger with salt & pepper. Cook 6-18 minutes until medium rare, Place cooked burger on cut roll and top with chopped celery and buffalo sauce.
