The Dish: Chicken, Steak or Shrimp Stir Fry
Ingredients:
2 tbsp. oil
1lb. boneless chicken, beef or cooked shrimp
1 Red Pepper
1 Green Pepper
1 Small Onion
1/4 lb. Broccoli Florets
2 carrots; cut
5 drops Hot Pepper Sauce
Pre-made stir fry sauce
Or if you have the time, Richie says it's easy to make your own sauce!
Homemade Sauce:
5 tbsp. A1 Sauce
3 tbsp. Worcestershire or soy sauce
1 tbsp. vinegar or lemon juice
1 tbsp. minced garlic
**Substitute snow peas, slice mushrooms or water chestnuts for any of the vegetables.
Method:
1. Heat oil in wok over medium high heat
2. Add meat
3. Stir-fry 5 minutes until meat is cooked through & no longer pink
4. Transfer to a plate
5. Add vegetables to wok
6. Stir-fry 3 minutes
7. Add stir fry sauce, hot pepper sauce and meat to mixture.
8. Serve over white rice
