7 Healthcast: Eggs healthier than ever before
The US Department of Agriculture said eggs now are lower in cholesterol and higher in vitamin D.
It is all thanks to the new and improved chicken diet - hens are eating more foods with vitamin D and less with saturated fats.
However, eggs still have 186 milligrams of cholesterol - people shouldn’t get more than 300 milligrams a day.
