7 Healthcast: Study: HPV can affect men and women
The study confirms about half of all men between the ages of 18 and 80 are infected with HPV. HPV can cause cervical cancer in women, as well as throat and anal cancers in both women and men.
The study said because HPV is easily transmitted through sex, men should also get vaccinated to protect themselves and their female partner.
