Researchers at Ohio State University studied 30 people who ate freeze-dried strawberries for six months.
The study showed that eating the strawberries slowed the growth of pre-cancerous lesions.
It’s believed eating fresh strawberries provides the same benefit.
Esophageal cancer is the sixth most frequent cause of cancer death in the world.
