Post-menopausal women taking hormone replacement pills may have a higher risk of developing high blood pressure.

New research showed those odds increased the longer women used hormone therapy.

Experts said doctors should consider these findings when helping their patients decide whether to use the therapy and for how long. Younger patients had a smaller chance of developing high blood pressure.
