Scientists in Canada have made what’s being called a breakthrough in cancer research.

Researchers are working on a personalized vaccine that would make your body fight off cancer instead of using toxic drugs.

The vaccine would mix a patient’s tumor with a virus that targets and kills cancer cells. Together it alerts the immune system what to do.

A closely related vaccine is moving to clinical trials within the next year.
