BOSTON (WHDH) -- A little more sleep could go a long way in improving kids' behavior.

Canadian researchers said kids ages 7-11 showed significant improvements in their ability to control emotions and were more alert in school when they got an extra half-hour of sleep at night.

Previous estimates showed more than half of school-age children go to bed after 9 pm.
