7 Healthcast: Vegetables could help treat breast cancer

UNDATED (WHDH) -- New research showed vegetables like broccoli and brussel sprouts could help fight cancer.

Researchers said they found a compound in these vegetables that may help treat an aggressive form of breast cancer.

They said the compound is safer and less toxic for patients than the current treatments and it could someday be available in pill form for daily use.
