BOSTON (WHDH) -- Pediatricians said boys are starting puberty earlier than ever.

A study from the American academy of pediatrics said boys are hitting the first stages of puberty anywhere from 6-months to 2 years earlier than previously reported.

In most boys, that's about age 10.

More research needs to be done to understand why it is happening.
