Cellulite Cocktail
For women everywhere it's battle they say they are tired of fighting cellulite... Fatty deposits under the skin especially on the hips and thighs.
But for years, European women have been using a secret serum and shedding the unwanted pockets of fat.
Women hate it...that ugly, bumpy, dimply, cottage cheese fat under the skin usually on hips and thighs known as cellulite.
And now many women are trying to combat it with mesotherapy.
This procedure, developed in Paris in the 1950's is the injection of a "cellulite cocktail" into a target area.
Dr Marcia Byrd an Anti-Aging Physican , ""Mesotherapy involves the injection of medications under the skin to affect some changes such as the cellulite removal..reduction of fat.... toning and tightening of the skin."

The cocktail is a blend of drugs including some used to treat heart ailments and asthma. Each drug is approved by the FDA - using them in combination is NOT and there's no standardized formula for the cocktail. Physicians mix their own. there have been reported cases of skin irritations and infections.
Plastic Surgeon Dr. Vincent Zubowicz, "I'm convinced that it doesn't work and I'm not going to risk my patients health with something that's not proven."
And there is a bottom line to any fat reduction program. Dr. Byrd says, " it's very important to eat right and exercise to make it work, and keep it off long term."
Dr. Byrd says for best results you need to go in for weekly treatments and it takes about 10 to 15 treatments in all.
