We know the West Nile virus can be transmitted through mosquitoes, but how about sex? Health officials in Colorado are investigating that possibility. Scientists say it's possible she may be right. The virus can be transmitted via some bodily fluids, blood included. So, to say that it could be sexually transmitted is not a huge leap.
