Help Me Hank: Seeing Red

Things looking a little fuzzy? If you're like David Moriarty a little fuzzy is what you see when you're driving, watching TV, even shopping... anything far away is blur city if David's not wearing his glasses.

David knows glasses can be cool -- from Elton John's wardrobe of them to Tom Cruise's trademark wayfarers. Finding the right look, like Keanu did, is important. School administrator David knows, it’s also important to find the right fit.

"Glasses will sometimes go like this when they're supposed to go like this."

So after his regular eye exam, David looked for the right look and when he found that perfect pair, he couldn't wait.

"It was a case of, ‘wow, let's get these right away.’"

He put down a $100 deposit immediately and waited for the call to go pick up his new specs. Three weeks later David was still waiting…

"I was calling daily. ‘What's the problem?’"

He was promised they were coming in, but two months later, David still had nothing.

"Just abandoned me and took the money and wouldn't return a phone call."

David had to work, he had to drive. But David was out the deposit money and was out his specs.

"I couldn't wait any longer."

So then he looked for help.

As a result, the board took action and demanded David get his refund.

And now, David has his deposit back, his new glasses purchased and a whole new outlook.
