Both sides being Israel, and Palestine. Both working together on their differences as well as on art projects.

Ghassan Halaika, art student
"So there is people from both sides that want this peace, and we came to talk and what difference we can make , which is through art"

Debbie Nathan, a local artist spent time in Israel and the Middle East and came up with the concept for Artsbridge.

Debbie Nathan, Artsbridge
"It's always been in my soul and I've always thought about how I could make a difference."

The program takes 15 kids from Israel, and 15 kids from Palestine and pairs them up to work on an art project during a three week period.

We learn about their life, how teenagers our age on the other side live

But its not all fun and games.

Raghd Zaguout, Ramallah
"It was very emotional..."

Boaz Nelson-Levy, Jerusalem
"You reach very tense points about different countries, cultures and the state of the armies and its very intense."

But through this process, these kids have learned to work together.

Raghd Zaguout, Ramallah
"We're not that different, we found many similarities between us and it helped us work."

And both sides come away with a better understanding.

Boaz Nelson-Levy, Jerusalem
"I think that the main message that shouldn't be lost on us is to listen and to be tolerant."

Through that tolerance, can work towards bringing about peace through art!

Debbie Nathan, Artsbridge
"My hope would be that they get that they have a voice and that they do have the power to make a difference."
