Special Report: Salsa dancing

Whether you’re a mover and a shaker or you have two left feet, a night of salsa dancing may be just what the doctor ordered to get rid of the cold weather blues.

Dan Marshall, Salsa dance instructor
"It’s a really friendly way to meet people. You don’t need a partner. You just come by yourself, and you'll meet other people."

All across Boston, the salsa sensation is catching on, including here at Mojitos, where they offer classes for every level.

Mayelus Verdecia, Salsa dance instructor
"We have different people. We have students. We have people, who know a little more and want to have a good time. We have people who never have experienced salsa, and they just want to try it out."

So, with a little encouragement and a final word of advice...

Mayelus Verdecia, Salsa dance instructor
"Just don’t think about it. Feel the music, and let yourself go."

I gave it a go. Ok, so I’m not ready for dancing with the stars just yet, but ya never know!

In Boston, I’m Romeo, 7News.
