"We're seeing more of a trend of people taking a vacation specifically to get pregnant," said Dr. Jason James.

Couples are booking Procreation Vacations around their fertile times -- something Miami OBGYN Jason James encourages his patients to do when there is no medical reason why they're not getting pregnant.

"We just think if they're able to get away from their daily lives and be with their partners and have a stress-free vacation, that just takes the pressure off," said Dr. James.

Susanne and Steve Taylor took that advice after trying unsuccessfully for 10 months.

They decided to bike and romance their way through wine country.

"When we were on vacation, it was nice to spend time with my husband again and remember who he was and why we got together," Susanne Taylor said.

It worked -- Baby Mason arrived just a couple of months ago.

"It was a nice way to spend that money: on a vacation rather on fertility treatments," she said.

Resorts and hotels are capitalizing on the trend.

Many now have packages for couples wanting an addition to the family.

At Little Palm Island Resort and Spa in the Florida Keys, the Stork Getaway package is designed to get couples in the mood for love.

"Romance, that's what we do. It's the most secluded romantic place in the United States," Emmanuel Gardinier said.

Couples enjoy romantic dinners that include aphrodisiacs like oysters, rose petal baths and practice yoga to relax.

Kemry and Lucinda Hughes booked their procreation package at the Westin Our Lucaya Resort in the Bahamas.

For three days they got massages, relaxed and dined on conch, sea moss elixirs and pumpkin soup, all Bahamian recipes believed to boost fertility.

"I think they kicked in. I obviously felt very amorous from them," said Lucinda Hughes.

The experience worked magic -- Lucinda's now pregnant.

"The conception date was the day we left the resort," she said.

The due date for their bundle of joy is April 25.

"This is the best souvenir, the best gift we could have ever had," Kemry Hughes said.

If their little souvenir is a girl, they plan to call her Lucaya, for the place that made it all happen.

Procreation Vacations can be pricey -- anywhere from $1,800 to $14,000.

But doctors say you don't have to spend a lot of cash or travel very far, just a few days away from every-day stress is enough.
