Dog owners, listen up. There's a new service that can give your yard a clean sweep. "Doody Calls" can turn your dog's dumping ground into green acres.

As every dog owner knows...

Joe Samuelian, a Hingham dog owner says, "They eat a ton of food, they love to play, they love to sleep..."

And of course, they go to the bathroom.

Samuelian adds, "Usually it's once a day, each of them, so over the course of the week, that can definitely add up."

Samuelian has two lively labs, and a very big backyard. This is always a good fit. But after awhile, things can get "messy." So he called the professionals.

Paul Delaney from Doody Calls says, Basically, it's just what you think. We come to your yard and scoop the poop for you.

Delaney opened Doody Calls pet service in April.

"You don't need to be home, we'll leave a yellow door hanger, to let you know we were there. And as long as the dogs are friendly they can be in the yard as well," says Delaney.

For $16 each week, Delaney will scan a yard, in search of droppings. He'll scoop them up, disinfect his tools and be on his way.

"Dog waste can carry parasites, and it does carry diseases. It needs to be picked up," Delaney says.

Which has many dog-owners "tip-toeing through the tulips", instead of, well, you know...

Doody Calls also handles pet waste service for parks and playgrounds.
