"I'm starting to get a little flabby here and it really bothers me in a bathing suit," she said.

More than 80 percent of women suffer from the unsightly dimpling caused by cellulite, regardless of their weight or fitness level, as dermatologist Dr. Michael Kaminar explained.

"The overwhelming majority of women have some degree of cellulite. And not surprisingly, they don't want to have it anymore."

But now there's a new non-invasive treatment that promises to smooth out your skin. It’s called Velasmooth and it's the first of its kind to be approved by the FDA.

Dr. Kaminar described Velasmooth as "An anti-cellulite machine that helps treat cellulite and also does body contouring."

Velasmooth works by using infared light to increase elasticity of the skin. Then radio frequency waves heat internal fat tissue and melt it away. At the same time, a vacuum smooths out the skin.

"So you lose inches by getting rid of fat, and the cellulite is basically stretched out and smoothed," Dr. Kaminar said.

Best of all, it doesn't hurt a bit.

Molly of Duxbury has had about a month’s worth of treatments and says Velasmooth has worked for her.

"My skin felt smoother and it definitely - my husband said he noticed a lot of improvement," Molly said, who also added that ""It feels great. It feels like getting a massage."

Dr. Kaminar agrees that Velasmooth could lead to an improvement in the appearance of cellulite, but he cautions that results are temporary.

"It's not going to be long-lasting," he warned.

And the Velasmooth treatment isn't cheap. Each session costs around $180 and experts say it takes about eight to twelve treatments to see a noticeable difference.
