Pretty woman Julia is doing double diaper duty with a baby girl and baby boy.Actress Geena Davis is busy chasing twin toddlers.And Oscar winner Marcia Gay Harden has a set of her own.But it's not just movie stars who are seeing double.Twins are on the rise Nationwide with Massachusetts leading the way.

"We have the highest rate of multiple births in the country and in addition to that if you look since 1990 the rate of multiple births in Massachusetts has increased by 89%."

If you want proof, look no further than Jaworek Elementary School in Marlborough.

" In kindergarten through grade 3 we have 11 sets of twins and a couple sets of triplets."

7 sets of the twins are in the first grade many of them are fraternal twins but,just try telling the difference between Alyana and Yasmine, Ashley and Katie, Lauren and Julia.

To help them develop their own identities the twins are put in separate classrooms.

And make no mistake about it...these 6 year olds love having a twin...but they do know what sets them apart.

They're so cute...

There are several reasons why twins are a growing trend 3 main ones..

Heredity, twins often run in the family.

Fertility, treatments are on the rise which means more multiple births.

And age from their mid 30s through their 40s women have higher hormone levels that could increase their chances of having a double delivery.
