Vacation Values

Special Report: Vacation Values

From Charlie to Frances Ivan to Jeann -- the Southern Caribbean and U.S. have been battered by hurricane havoc this year.

But now the sun is shining again.. And so are the vacation values.

Mark Venezia, Vacation Outlet
"There's lots of opportunities and lots of great deals right now."

Desperate for post-hurricane business, resorts and cruise lines are slashing prices to encourage tourism. And you can get a great deal.

For example, in the Bahamas the Atlantis Resort, a family favorite, cut rates to $96 a night.

And the Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa will take a third off your bill, if you stay three nights.

Vincent Vanderpool, Wallace, Director-General, Bahamas Ministry of Tourism
"What we are doing is making sure we have the greatest deals available to anybody at anytime in recent years."

Or if a cruise is more your speed, the Norwegian Cruise Line's offering a five-night cruise to the western Caribbean for only $299.

And the Royal Caribbean has a seven day Eastern Caribbean Cruise starting at $659.

Mark Venezia, Vacation Outlet
"It's 61 percent off from what it would normally be."

If you'd rather stay stateside, you can find magical bargains in Orlando as well. Right now, a Disney package with airfare, park passes, and 3 nights at the Animal Kingdom Hotel is just $699.

Mark Venezia, Vacation Outlet
"All Disney properties are at 100%. The parks are open. And it's a great time to take advantage of some savings."

But if you want to take advantage of these vacation values you'd better act fast. Because travel experts say these post-hurricane prices will soon be swept away.
