
Lisa Owens M.D. is the Medical Director of Brigham Primary Physicians at Faulkner where she practices internal medicine. She is an Associate Physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital as well as an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical. She is involved in the teaching of residents in the Brigham and Women's Hospital Internal Medicine residency training program as well as Harvard Medical students.
Dr. Owens is a graduate of Brown University and received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Medicine with honors. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital and is board certified in Internal Medicine.
Lisa recently completed the Brigham and Women's Physician Leadership course in conjunction with Harvard Business School. She also is a regular contributor to BE Healthy, the Bay State Banner publication, which is designed to disseminate health information and reduce health disparities in communities of color.
