Safety First!

When preparing to shoot, remember to keep a safe distance. Never place yourself or others in harm's way to capture a clip.

Shaky Footage

Before you press "Record," place or hold your video device against a steady surface to capture the smoothest shot possible.

Zooming

Avoid zooming in and out. It can reduce the quality of your footage and result in grainy images. Also, zooming in and out can disorient the viewer.

Lighting

Be mindful of lighting, reflections in windows, mirrors and sunset. All have the potential to ruin the quality of your footage.
