Fifty-two-year-old Alan Colby was sentenced Friday in Rockingham Superior Court. He was convicted in January of stealing $104,000 from the club.
Prosecutors say Colby embezzled about $200,000 in all -- and paid back $96,000 -- between 2008 and 2010 to help his struggling construction company, Senter Brothers Inc.
As part of Colby's sentence, he must repay $64,000 to the club and $40,000 to its insurance company.
