Twitter marks seventh birthday

UNDATED (WHDH) -- A social media birthday! Twitter marked its seventh birthday Thursday.

The first tweet ever was from twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey on the night of March 21st, 2006.

Now there are more than 200-million users, sending news, jokes, and messages 140 characters at a time.

Justin Beiber tops Twitter with over 36-million followers.
