US consumes lowest level of soda in 7 years
UNDATED (WHDH) -- More and more Americans are cutting back on soda.
A new study showed that last year we consumed roughly 9.2 billion cases.
That may sound like a lot, but it’s the lowest level in 7 years.
Experts say more Americans are drinking water and tea instead.
The only carbonated beverages not on the decline were energy drinks like Monster and Red Bull.
