Bank of America tests smartphone pay program

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WHDH) -- Bank of America began testing a new program that lets customers pay with their smartphone.

Customers could pay at a store register just by scanning their phone.

The test program is running in Charlotte, North Carolina where the bank is headquartered.
