Nature's Recipe recalls dog treats

UNDATED (WHDH) -- Dog owners may want to pay attention to this recall on dog treats.

Nature’s Recipe is voluntarily recalling its oven baked biscuits with real chicken because of possible salmonella contamination.

The product was made at its manufacturing plant in Topeka, Kansas and distributed nationally.

Nature’s Recipe is part of Del Monte foods.

The company said there have been no pet or human illnesses reported.

As a precaution the recalled treats should be discarded immediately.
