Stores to open Black Friday events on Thanksgiving

UNDATED (WHDH) -- Wal-Mart’s Black Friday promos came out.

This year the deals are starting earlier than ever - at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving night.

However, due to blue laws, the stores won't open early in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.

They will be open in New Hampshire.

Sears is another retail store set to open at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving night. The retail giants will be offering several early bird deals for Thanksgiving Day shoppers.
