Starbucks introduces rare, costly coffee

UNDATED (WHDH) -- Starbucks has introduced the most expensive cup of coffee the chain has ever sold -- cashing in at $7 for a 16-ounce cup.

Apparently, it's pricey because it's made from rare Costa Rican beans.

It was introduced at 46 Starbucks stores, in the Pacific Northwest.

The expensive coffee beans only grow at high altitudes and there are fewer cherries per tree.
