Hunter Marie Cook - Wareham Middle School
Hunter Marie Cook from Wareham Middle School
Tammie M. Cook
I'd like to nominate my daughter Hunter.
Hunter is a caring, loving and thoughtful 13-year-old young lady that likes to help others. She is a Project 351 Ambassador and participates in events that helps others whether it's raising money, collecting food, paying an entry fee to jump in freezing ocean water on New Years Day, or addressing bullying (among other events).
She maintains a perfect attendance in school, has received the presidential award in PE for the past 3 years, and strives to achieve good grades.
She loves softball and has been playing since the 3rd grade. Her primary position is pitching, but she plays the entire infield except catching. On Sunday April 14 she attended a softball skills assessment in Marlborough, MA sponsored by the Softball Factory. After receiving the results of her skills assessment, Hunter was told she has been selected out of thousands of other girls to be part of their National Team competing in the Advanced Training & Competition at the World Cup held in Oklahoma this July, which she accepted and hasn't stopped smiling since.
Hunter has 4 siblings. They are all very supportive of each other and couldn't be more excited for her and her achievements.
My husband John & I couldn't be more proud parents.
