Woman throws eggs during Britain's Got Talent
UNDATED (WHDH) -- A messy situation at the “Britain’s Got Talent” finale as a woman ran onto stage during a performance and started throwing eggs at the judges.
This wasn’t part of an act. Contestants Richard and Adam Johnson were performing “The Impossible Dream” when suddenly from behind them a woman raced to the front of the stage and started pelting the judge panel. A stunned Simon Cowell took off his jacket after rubbing the egg off.
The egg thrower was quickly rushed off stage and the performance continued on, prompting a standing ovation by the judges and crowd.
“Apologies for that happening. It was not part of the act,” said the performers.
The egg tosser has been identified as Natalie Holt. She played the viola as part of the orchestra accompanying the performers. Holy was also a contestant on “Britain’s Got Talent” a year ago with her band, Raven Quartet.
But they didn’t have a great experience. Her band mate wrote back then as quoted in The Daily Mail Online, “Honestly, if you think watching those talent shows are gut wrenching, you should try being a contestant in one.”
Her band mates said they had nothing to do with the prank.
