Massone eliminated, watch his last 'The Voice' performance

BOSTON (WHDH) --James Massone did his version of Billy Joel's "Just The Way You are on Monday night’s elimination round episode of "The Voice."
Unfortunately, his coach, Cee Lo Green, felt it wasn't good enough to move on.
Massone had chosen a song that was from an older generation since he already had the young ladies on his side, wooing them with his last performance “Don’t Know Why” by Norah Jones. But in the end it wasn't enough.
It was the moment hometown boy James Massone hoped would never come.
“Tonight I have to make a final decision and just due to performances tonight and take everything into consideration, I have to let my little brother James go,” Cee Lo Green said.
And just like that, James Massone was eliminated from ‘The Voice.’
Seconds after being eliminated, James tweeted:
“Thank you to @NBCTheVoice, @CeeLoGreen #TeamCeeLo, #TeamMassone – and of course my family & friends- this dream wasn’t possible without”
Massone’s father who was right there says his family is upset about the decision, but James wasn't all that surprised.
“He was kind of having a bad feeling about things during the show. They had us in the back room and he told me he kind of felt like it was the end of the road,” said Jim Massone, James’ father.
