Sandler visits the Marblehead Jewish Community Center

MARBLEHEAD, Mass. (WHDH) -- Adam Sandler and some of his Hollywood buddies are spending the summer on the North Shore filming a sequel the movie "Grown Ups."

Adam Sandler and Chris Rock stopped by the Jewish Community Center of the North Shore, in Marblehead, to play a little ball and hang out with fans.

“He's just been as gracious as you can possibly imagine,” said Brian Grable.

The actors are in the Bay State for the filming of "Grown Ups 2" and Sandler also held an open casting call at the Jewish Community Center, looking for the kids for a dance scene in the movie.

Sandler even signed a basketball that will be auctioned off later this year.
