Eva Longoria apologizes for offensive re-tweet

UNDATED (WHDH) -- Actress Eva Longoria issued an apology after re-tweeting an offensive message calling Mitt Romney a racist and questioning why any woman or minority would vote for him.

At first Longoria deleted the offending tweet and implied that a twitter glitch was to blame - but later wrote that she uses "twitter as a platform for all Americans and their opinions. Sorry if people were offended."
