Cotillard is Hasty Pudding's 'Woman of the Year'
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (WHDH) -- Marion Cotillard is this year's Harvard Hasty Pudding's “Woman of the Year.”
The title is given to performers who've made an impressive contribution to the world of entertainment.
The actress was honored Thursday with a parade with men dressed in drag through Harvard Square and a roasting by the Hasty Pudding Theatrical Group.
Academy Award winner Marion Cotillard took her seat for the ride of her life -- which ended with her receiving the Hasty Pudding Pot for "Woman of the Year."
But not before the star of such films as the “Dark Knight Rises and “Inception” was roasted on stage by the Hasty Pudding Theatricals.
Then they brought out her former co-stars -- well kind of.
She then had to read some lines from popular movies.
“Mama always said, ‘Life is like a box of chocolates,’” she read aloud to the audience.
And after having to sing a song, she finally earned the pudding pot.
“Thank you for so much fun this is one of the best awards I’ve ever received,” said Cotillard.
