Chicago, The Musical makes stop in So. Fla.
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- The longest-running American musical in Broadway history is making a stop in South Florida.
Seen in over 30 countries and in 12 different languages, "Chicago," is a musical based on Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover.
The legendary show, celebrating 7,000 performances, is now bringing "All That Jazz" to Fort Lauderdale, which also happens to be home to one of the show's stars. "I have to kind of pinch myself to be able to come back and do this show in such a great performing arts center in Broward County," said John O'Hurley. "You want to have these moments in your life as an actor, where you can kinda look behind, over your shoulder, and say, 'Oh, it's so nice to go back home and be able to do something."
Chicago opens Wednesday at the Broward Center. For more information and tickets visit: https://browardcenter.org/online/.
