Designer Louboutin meets with Boston fans

BOSTON (WHDH) -- The man behind the famous red soles met with fashion fans in Boston Tuesday.

French shoe designer Christian Louboutin appeared at the Saks Fifth Avenue in the Back Bay. He talked to fans and signed their shoes.

Shoppers said the designer was very gracious.

Everywhere you looked, women were wearing his creations.

“If you look down it’s a sea of pink or red soles while drinking champagne. I mean it’s quite the girl’s extravaganza,” said Lynn Dale, a Louboutin fan.

Christian Louboutin also told the shoppers he loves Boston and that he tries to visit every one or two years.
