Big name stars filming new movie in Boston
BOSTON (WHDH) -- There’s some movie magic here in the hub! Filming is now underway in Boston for a movie that features some big-name stars.
Jeremy Renner took a break on the streets of South Boston, taking time to pose for pictures with fans.
“He’s a cool guy, yeah, just saw him right there and asked him for a picture and he was like ‘yeah, definitely.’ Nice guy,” said Mike Giannattasio.
“I was just like ‘hey, you know, awesome job in the Town, can I get a picture with you?’ and he said ‘sure.’ He was really cool about it,” said Kevin Giannattasio.
For these two locals, it’s been a star studded week. They also met Oscar nominee, Amy Adams, Wednesday night as well as director David O. Russell.
She’s also in South Boston filming a new movie called "Untitled Abscam Project." It's about a FBI sting operation in the 1970's that leads to the conviction of a congressman.
Kevin Giannattasio met Amy Adams.
“We saw Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner just walking up around here and it’s cool being from Boston and seeing Boston movies being made,” said Kevin Giannattasio.
Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper stopped by the AMC Boston Common Theater the other night for the premiere of a different movie.
He's also in the new movie with Renner and Adams, along with his co-star from Silver Linings Playbook, Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence.
