BOSTON (WHDH) -- It's been a rollercoaster of a year for actor Alec Baldwin. Baldwin opened up to 7's Adam Williams Friday, while talking about his latest movie.
Looking thin and trim, Alec Baldwin's been a busy guy.
“I’m doing a lot of stuff. A little yoga, spinning and just a lot of different things,” Baldwin said.
Recently married to yoga instructor, Hilaria Thomas, Baldwin is also excited about his new movie, "To Rome, With Love,” and he spoke with 7News about playing in woody Allen’s latest flick.
“The movie is four tablos of different stories that intersect or are woven together in the piece. Working with Woody, it’s for a variety of reasons, it’s great. It’s unusually good but I think the principal answer is the writing is so good. Woody is one of the greatest writers that ever lived in the movie business. Ever,” Baldwin said.
Baldwin also let 7News in on some personal business, reflecting on his on-again off-again relationship with social media and the people who use it.
“And they have so little influence on things that truly matter to them that they’re obsessed with having some influence on things whether they don’t matter to them or not,” Baldwin said,
He was referring to comments made about him following that incident with a flight attendant earlier this year and the one with a member of the paparazzi.
And about the lessons he's learned:
“And you just wind up having to live your life a little more cautious which is not cool, it’s not what I want to do, but in the end, if you don’t you wind up you know, with all these really horrible people on you all the time,” Baldwin said.
