Hotel employee fired after complimenting Jennifer Aniston

UNDATED (WHDH) -- A New Mexico hotel employee was reportedly fired after complimenting actress Jennifer Aniston.

The Hollywood megastar was in town filming her latest movie. The hotel employee was excited about meeting the star and afterward he told another hotel guest that Aniston was “very sweet and much more petite than he thought.”

One of Aniston’s entourage reportedly overheard the comment and told hotel management, who then fired the worker.

Some are saying that was extreme.

Aniston’s PR representative said he is aware of the incident and working on a formal statement.

The Encantado Hotel management only said they have a very strict confidentiality policy.

Some say Aniston should come to the former employee’s defense and help him get his job back.
