BOSTON (WHDH) -- Frenzied fans lined up early in Boston Thursday to see the final chapter of the “Twilight” series.

People waited long before dusk to see “Breaking Dawn: Part II.” The first screenings of the movie kicked off Thursday night.

All of the shows Thursday night sold out quickly.

“It’s sad, it’s the last one,” one girl said.

“I woke up and I just started crying because it was the end,” another girl said.

Fans were fired up -- and dressed up -- at the Boston Common Loews for the Thursday night premiere.

“Sat in bed all day and watched all four ‘Twilight’ movies. We’re ready,” one fan said.

Loews offered up its own “Twilight” marathon showing the first four movies starting at 11:30 Thursday morning.
